Our 2023 performance of the Star Spangled Banner was in center field of Nationals Park, before the Washington Nationals took on the Miami Marlins in September. We were thrilled to have guests singing with us from three other local chapters!

This month we traveled out to West Virginia to do a show for the Wardensville Lions Club.
In addition to the chorus, our chapter quartet, the Capital Classics and our director John David Maybury’s quartet, Surprisingly Competent, performed.

The chorus was thrilled to hit the jackpot when we performed at this year's Cherry Blossom Festival on “Peak Bloom Sunday."

After appearing with the Barbershop Harmony Society's Frederick, MD chapter in the 2022 Mid-Atlantic District Southern Division contest, the chorus competed in this year's contest in York, PA on March 25th.

The chorus sang Christmas carols at Eastern Market and the City Ridge Tree Lighting ceremony in Northwest DC this holiday season. We had great audiences at both performances, and loved singing for them!

After our street corner show last December of carols and holiday songs, Eastern Market asked us back again this summer.

At the end of July, the chorus returned to the Brooke Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for another performance. We sang for the residents back in December and we were asked to come back again this summer.
In addition to a full package of chorus songs, Bob Hirsh used a quartet to explain and demonstrate how barbershop four part harmony works. Plus the Capital Classics, one of our chapter quartets stepped out and sang a couple of songs.
