This year's summer Eastern Market performance celebrated the 150th anniversary of a great Washington, DC landmark!

This month we traveled out to West Virginia to do a show for the Wardensville Lions Club.
The chorus was thrilled to hit the jackpot when we performed at this year's Cherry Blossom Festival on “Peak Bloom Sunday."
We had a great time singing for an enthusiastic audience!
After appearing with the Barbershop Harmony Society's Frederick, MD chapter in the 2022 Mid-Atlantic District Southern Division contest, the chorus competed in this year's contest in York, PA on March 25th.
The chorus sang Christmas carols at Eastern Market and the City Ridge Tree Lighting ceremony in Northwest DC this holiday season. We had great audiences at both performances, and loved singing for them!
After our street corner show last December of carols and holiday songs, Eastern Market asked us back again this summer.
At the end of July, the chorus returned to the Brooke Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for another performance. We sang for the residents back in December and we were asked to come back again this summer.

In March, a chapter quartet, Marc Wolfson, Allen Synder, Tim Day and Bob Hirsh had the honor to be part of the Celebration of Life for David Peterson, a longtime fellow barbershopper and former member of the Singing Capital Chorus.

This holiday season we sang at Eastern Market on December 4th and On Connecticut Avenue in Van Ness on December 12th. The chorus had a great time spreading holiday cheer to appreciative audiences at both locations.
In the second night of a busy weekend of performing, we sang in front of the Tenley-Friendship Library, on September 25th.
