National Anthem - Nationals Park - 2022-Aug-13

Yes, it's that time of year. The Singing Capital Chorus and its many guests such as YOU will perform an a cappella arrangement of the Star-Spangled Banner behind home plate at a Washington Nationals game. This summer we'll perform on 13 August, a Saturday game against the San Diego Padres at 7:05 p.m.

Don't know how to sing? We give you Learning Tracks where someone sings you your part so you can practice at home, in the car, in the shower, your choice, we won't judge. You can find these audio files and sheet music that you can download below.

As in previous years, we are extending an open invitation to any and all guys who love singing and want to have a memorable experience at the ballpark. We will have inexpensive seats for the game that you can purchase for family and friends so they can cheer us on. 

We ask all guests to attend three rehearsals. We meet every Monday night at 7:00 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 3620 Everett St, NW in Washington DC (no affiliation - located just off Connecticut Ave with ample street parking). Please consider joining us this year. Even better, bring a friend, classmate or a fellow chorus member. Guys of any age and a range of musical abilities are heartily encouraged to participate. There will be a cost of your ticket for the game ($15), plus the cost of the uniform that we require the singers to wear (red polo shirt, khaki pants) if you don't already have something similar.
